Sports Massage

Sports Massage treats and rehabilitates the cliens in order to restore full function. Sports Massage can treat:

  • Ligaments and soft tissue disorders
  • Muscle, tendon and ligament injuries
  • Joint, including spine, dysfunction
  • Pre and post surgical problems
  • Sports Therapy can also improve fitness and flexibility
  • Provide injury prevention programmes
  • Provide personal exercises and rehabilitation plans

A Sports Massage uses a wide range of modalities including: Soft tissue massage, Joint mobilisation, Trigger point (for pain relief), Stretching, Guidance through rehabilitation programmes to build a good exercise habit.

Frequency: Initial assessment lasts one hour with subsequent treatments lasting half an hour depending upon the severity and nature of your condition.
