Alexander Technique

The Technique is re-educative, gentle and non-invasive. It is suitable for everyone. The Technique helps you to become aware of any unhelful or even damaging ways in which you may be using your body. These habits can often be the cause of existing or future injuries, pain, stress and discomfort. Common problems are: over arching the lower back; locking the hips; over tensing the neck , shoulders, amrs, hand, jaw and eyes; unneccessary stooping and slouching. Caroline can teach you how to change the way you use your body in order to restore your natural equilibrium and improve levels of health and wellbeing.

Frequency: Lessons last 40 minutes, with the initial consutation lasting 50 minutes. The Technique operates by changing habitual patterns of use of the body and mind. Starting with an initial dourse of ten lessons and a convenient ongoing prgramme arranged thereafter.
